It was a pleasure dealing with David Certano. He makes a great product and his customer service is second to none. I am enjoying the heck out of my CL1. It’s my sixth lap steel and the first I can say feels natural to play. I was worried about the pickup. But it sounds great…full of power, clarity and warmth. My second steel bender...this time additional bridge. Excellent product! The only thing missing was the Certano stickers...otherwise, no complaints whatsoever. Tip: make sure you are absolutely certain about the string alignment before you drill, the room for error is small so be sure to triple check you are aligned as this will save filling/re-drilling your instrument!

I have been using Laptop steel with Certano palm bender, but after using palm bender , especialy second strings tended to out of tune. After I installed roller nut, tuning changes satisfactory in stable.
