I love the benders and bridge! Great quality, they look ace and the effect on my new lapsteel adds a whole new dimension to my playing. Well worth the money! The passage to Australia was a bit worrying though. No communication whatsoever from the freight company, no waybill, no tracking number, no notification of arrival, no failed delivery notice, no notice that they were sitting it the local post office. I didn't even know who the freight company was until I emailed David, who gave me the info and I chased them down. So in summary, 5+ stars for the benders, 1 star for the freight company. Excellent well manufactured product. Prompt service from David Certano. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was the price was shown in $ dollars, it didn’t state US $ dollars, so I had a bit of a shock with the conversion rate to Australian dollars! I mentioned it to David and he is going to state US dollars in future communications.

I ordered the Certano lapsteel. Shipping was fairly quick. The item packed immaculately. It came in a beautiful, nicely made gig back with my name in the tag window. Nice touch. The lapsteel itself is gorgeous! Very nicely made, clean lines and no frills. It's very workman like which is what I prefer. Inside the gig back it came with a nice quality slide bar and Allen wrenches for adjusting the benders. If you're looking for a well made, great sounding and functional lapsteel, I highly recommend this one. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is that when I ordered it the website said my order was completed and that was it. I had to email David to ask about shipping details. His response was quick and we had great communication. I just feel that after a customer orders something they should be informed up front as to the shipping details right away. Just my opinion.

Hi...Well I had to pay duty and tax coming into Canada...but the Bender arrived early.
