Hello, I am very happy to have received the equipment I ordered. It complements other De Buyer items that I particularly like. However, I currently have induction hobs on which the small saucepan I received does not work. However, it is clearly stated that the stainless steel used is induction-compatible. Furthermore, the lack of conduction is not linked to the size of the pan, as I use an even narrower Moka on the same hob. Could the "De Buyer" engraving on the bottom of the pan be the cause? What advice could you give me to make the pan really induction-compatible? I bought this pan to replace one that didn't work on induction, so it's a bit disappointing. It is unlikely that the laser engraving on the outer bottom of the pan is the cause of the detection problem on your hob.
