You'll need to set your iron to 200°C (cotton/linen setting, no steam) and wait a few minutes before use. The labels are applied directly to the fabric. Caution: avoid elastic areas and seams. My order never arrived, after chasing it up, they said they had the wrong address, I had paid through PayPal so they did have my full correct address. Luckily I got a full refund via PayPal A disappointing experience with this company
