The coals arrive well packed. It is very simple to use. I'm not doing any laboratory analysis of the effects of the charcoal on the water, otherwise there is no particular taste. The quality-price ratio is interesting. If the comment helped you, please vote it useful, it's nice to know that we helped.

I knew that charcoal (yes, the one you use for your barbecues) removed odors from rainwater and here we discover that the same principle applies to tap water. It's wonderful and easy to use. It is very appreciable because it has been said that because of the violent drought caused by the heat wave, the water would have reached dangerously low levels in the reserves and that the quality of the said water had suffered.

Simply boil water and put a stick or several sticks in the water at first for 10 minutes. Repeat this operation every month. Then put the number of sticks in relation to the number of liters in a bottle of water. I have a bottle of 3 liters of water so I put 3 sticks in it. With the same water I filled the bottle with the sticks and another one without to see the difference. The difference is that the taste of the water is slightly different. Is it the fact that this is the first time that the sticks are put in the bottle and that they are put when they were still warm? I will come back to the comments later to see what evolves.

These "charcoal sticks" are amazing. They filter the water when they are plunged into a container. After 8 hours, the water is pure and free of pesticides, chlorine and other harmful substances. With this simple system, you can throw away your plastic bottles.

I love binchotan, these Japanese charcoals that purify drinking water, as long as you leave them in contact for 4 hours. These are small, convenient to slip into a water carafe. I like to add a rose quartz to revitalize the water

I could only use one stick: the others are too big to go through the neck of a carafe or a bottle. Moreover, they disintegrate and lots of small particles of carbon are suspended in the water, so they are not presentable... Apart from that, they filter correctly, no more chlorinated taste in the water. I still need to know how I can use the remaining sticks....

2 of the 5 coals were broken. The coals leave a lot of deposit at the bottom of the water, which is very unpleasant. We are disappointed. Is a refund possible?

So. Already the format is imposing, it doesn't fit in all bottles: privileged the carafe. It changes slightly the taste of the water but nothing disturbing. It also leaves some deposits (normal for charcoal) but this does not prevent a daily use. The dry sticks are fragile, but well protected. Filters well, and use surely longer than indicated. A little expensive when you know that it is only burned bamboo) But the benefits of active charcoal are numerous, and not easy to produce by yourself. Coupled with ceramic beads it is super top. Would be more reassured if the product was certified organic.

Regular user of Brita jugs, I was nevertheless concerned about the fact that the Brita filter filtered everything, including the trace elements of tap water, which are beneficial to the body.here, the Binchotan does the job of purification and gives natural trace elements.Easy to use, you just have to wait 4-8 hours to enjoy its benefits. However, you should always have two jugs of Binchotan in order to avoid running out of water...

I already own the ceramic beads of this brand and I am more than satisfied with them. The water in my town has a taste of chlorine and the beads reduce it considerably, so I have abandoned the mineral water bottles. Recently traces of pesticides have been detected, so I have opted for this activated carbon which purifies the water. It is necessary to boil the carbon 10 minutes before the first use, then let it cool down and leave it in the carafe for a minimum of 4 hours, 8 hours being ideal. It will be necessary to boil it every month, at the end of 6 months the coal must be changed and can be used for example of fertilizer for the plants.this mark is committed for the planet and transfers 1% of the selling price to an NGO for the reforestation of our planet.if useful thank you to click?

Binchotan activated charcoal, I've heard of it before, but it's the first time I've had it in my hands... Indeed, these charcoals come from Japan, and are packaged in France... There are 4 pieces of different sizes, but in total they weigh a little more than 100g. It is well explained on the bag in French: I boiled for 10 minutes and then I prepared a carafe of one liter with tap water and put this coal, and in the fridge! Waited 4 hours to taste: surprisingly, no taste of tap nor taste of burned coal. I left it for another 4 hours and there I did not feel the difference in taste, but really pleasant to drink as mineral water.with this water, I cooked rice, and there we felt the difference in taste clearly superior to tap water! Apparently it is while cooking that we find the difference! I will try to use it in the kitchen as well.20 euros for a set of 4 seems expensive, but it can be used for 6 months by boiling every month, so it is finally profitable, economical and ecological!

The beads remove the scale in the caraffe and also the bad taste of the water. I had to put 20 pearls instead of 15 as recommended because the water contains a lot of tartar.I remove one star because I am unable to receive the e-book despite reminders directly to the seller or via the brand Orinko.

As soon as I received them, I cleaned the grey pearls as indicated on the website.then I put them in a glass bottle with tap water.the taste is really delicious.there was a problem with the pink pearls I received at the same time and the salesman was very reactive and he found a solution that suits me.I recommend with my eyes closed.
