After 6 months, the jug broke without impact

The binchotan charcoal seems to do the job, however, it is quite cumbersome to use. Drying the charcoal between uses and filtration duration of 4 to 8 hours. For me, it's 8 hours for optimal filtration and that is very cumbersome.

The filtration system itself seems good, the water tastes good and the filtration is done at a much faster rate than I thought I understood. However, there are two things I regret: At the end of the assembly, we noticed a small bump in the bottom tank even though we did not drop either the package or the tank, but we cannot prove that it was there before because we did not pay attention. Secondly, the filters do not sit straight in the top tank, they are wobbly; we thought we had tightened them properly so we assume it must be like that originally, but we find that it does not look very sophisticated. For us, these filters should stand straight. So a bit disappointed, which explains the rating.

I'm disappointed by the bamboo charcoal, which is much less effective than the oak binchotan I used to take from you.

Good product SAV ABSENT

I'm quite satisfied with my cartridges, although I haven't had enough experience yet. I'm surprised by the speed of filtration. I had Doulton cartridges before and filtration was drip-feed. The ORINKO instructions state that filtration takes 4 hours...My filtration took barely 2 hours. I hope that the value for money, given the much longer life of these cartridges than the Doultons, is as reliable.

Impractical to pour water through the filter!

I'm not very satisfied: - ordering error: I received only 1 carbon instead of 3. This will be rectified, but it's taking a long time. - the charcoal received floats, regardless of the amount of water put in the carafe: as a result, it's in permanent contact with the air and the surface area submerged is less. The instructions state "if the charcoal floats in the water, please contact us". The solution suggested in a (sympathetic) e-mail from customer service = buy a specific decanter from Orinko or calculate the buoyancy (formula on wikihow) to find out the right quantity of water... the charcoal still floats and I don't want to buy an expensive decanter. As for the effectiveness of the charcoal and pearls, I trust them, as I have no way of checking. Conclusion: small company in the process of being organized, undoubtedly good products, friendly customer service.

Several broken in two

The diameter of the sticks is too wide to pass the neck of my flasks, which is twice as wide as a bottle! I'm very disappointed.

Despite good packaging, 2 out of 10 sticks were broken in 2.... Regarding the use, which is to purify water and improve its taste, it seems to work, to be seen over time.

Lump coal

I'm happy with the decanter, benchotan and grey pearls, but not at all with the siwak. And I find that the information is not up to expectations.

The product purchased has half the lifespan of my previous order. The price is therefore doubled.

After boiling the coals, the water was black and a week later I still have coal residue in the water in my carafe. This was not the case with other brands of coals.

Hello, I ordered 2 charcoal kits from France, and in one of the kits, a charcoal was broken, unusable. Also, the coals don't stay at the bottom of the carafe, they rise up and it's not practical to close the carafe.

The carafe is beautiful and efficient, but the pourer isn't great because there are no air inlets, so the water flows very slowly.

Offer a delivery address other than the home address

Only three stars, because I don't know if I can use the water from my well for hydration purposes

I have been using activated carbons for 2 weeks now, the taste of the water is a little better but it is difficult for me to judge its efficiency on pesticides, drugs and other undesirable molecules... Only an analysis before and after using the charcoal could reassure me! My only consolation is not to use plastic bottles anymore.

Hello, I give the rating of 3 simply because it is difficult to access the essential information about the coals. I suggest you write a summary such as Product Name, Number in Container, size of coals and especially the number of liters filterable per coal, under the product picture. I tear my hair out every time to know how many coals and of what size, how many boxes, I have to buy for my 8 liter bottles. I spend at least an hour re-reading everything each time. That said, it's always you guys that I come back to. Because you are the best! Thank you so much. Eve.

I ordered bamboo activated charcoal and it is not very strong, almost 60% of it crumbled in 2 weeks, but in the end it is my responsibility because I should have bought what I usually use. solid Bishotan charcoal
