Our water is very chlorinated, so with the bamboo it works very well but you have to let it rest for 4 hours, I did the test with 2 and 3 hours and you still don't have the taste of chlorine, between 4 and 5 it goes away! Hello, we have been using these coals to filter our water for several days now and even if I must admit that at the beginning the fact of having to take it in advance to let the water rest for 4 hours (approximately) then to think of taking out the carbon afterwards so that the water does not take a bad taste was constraining. But in the end, it works very well, it's just a habit to get used to. Otherwise, the product does its job well, the water doesn't have any taste at all (where there could be some with the filtering carafes), and what made us choose this product is precisely for its ecological side, namely that everything is compostable and/or recyclable (no plastic packaging)
